Pediatric Physical TherapyThe focus of a pediatric physical therapist is to maximize a child’s functional independence in their environment. For some children this means working on developing typical skills such as sitting, creeping and walking so that the child may better access their environment. For other children it can mean improving range of motion and/or strength to return to a previous level of functioning, after an injury or surgery.
